Dive Cabo is the first PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in Los Cabos. We are located inside the “Tesoro Resort” on the Cabo San Lucas marina. The dive center is only a short 2 minute walk away from our dive boats. Furthermore, Dive Cabo is a fully equipped enriched air NITROX facility with 20 new sets of rental gear. We are also the local dealer for Sherwood and Cressi Sub dive equipment. After the recent makeover in the summer of 2021, the dive center is now redone with beautiful handmade hardwood furniture and fittings.

When it comes to the training itself, all courses are conducted by our fully qualified, multi-lingual and multi-national team of PADI Instructors. Our team will cover all aspects of training, from theory lessons and reviews, to confined water sessions, to your first dives in the Open Water. Having our very own Confined Water Facility ensures a smooth transition throughout the journey, improving skill retention and enjoyment for all those involved. 

Situated in the middle of Cabo San Lucas lies Dive Cabo’s very own “Klubhaus”. This custom made complex just a stones throw from our downtown store – and the bustling San Lucas Marina – caters for all manner of divers. 

The focal point of our training facility is the custom made 12ft deep training pool. Designed by Diving Instructors, with both Instructors and Students in mind, it is perfect for practicing the full range of skills required to complete your PADI Open Water, Divemaster, and Instructor certifications. Being the first PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre (IDC) in Los Cabos, a fully equipped classroom is imperative. Divemaster and Instructor Development courses contain a lot of theory sessions to complement the practical work, and to maintain a high standard of future PADI Pros, a comfortable and familiar learning environment is crucial. The classroom and living rooms are all equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, creating a comfortable environment to learn and relax.

Within the “Klubhaus” training facility, we currently have 5 fully furnished, spotless studio apartments, complete with seating areas, twin beds, kitchenettes and toilet. These cosy and comfortable rooms are available for rent to all – divers, friends, family or just travelers looking for a relaxed place to stay while they enjoy Los Cabos. Situated a mere 15 minute walk from the marina, but far enough to be away from all the hustle and bustle.

Within the complex is a fully equipped communal kitchen, BBQ and outdoor dining areas, sunrise decking, and laundry facilities. Kick back by the pool with a cool drink after a long day of diving, and ponder the plethora of choices of places to eat nearby. The Klubhaus is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax and be away from the busy parts of Cabo, yet keep them in easy reach at the same time.

Customers staying in San Jose del Cabo also have the option to dive with an affiliated dive shop at the marina “Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo. “East Cape Explorers” is first of all a short drive away from the hotel zone in San Jose del Cabo. There are about 12 “local dives” sites in the region.

The famous sites are known as (Chileno Bay, Blow Hole and Santa Maria) whilea  lot of the other dive sites names are not well known due to the fact they were discovered by this dive shop. Since the sites are within 10 – 45 minutes away by boat you have time to enjoy the scenary of the east cape.  Furthermore the reefs are in great condition. In addition “East Cape Explorers” is also very close to the famous “Gordo Banks” sea mount, visited on almost each Wednesday and Saturday depending on conditions. The Dive Shop operates from Monday – Saturday.
