What is the water temperature and visibility like?
Water temperatures in Cabo San Lucas range from 68°F (20°C) in winter to 85°F (29°C) in late summer. Visibility ranges from 30 to over 100 feet, especially clear in the fall months.

What kind of dive conditions should I expect?

Booking, Payments & Cancellation
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy
Once you reserve a space, that space is yours and cannot be sold to anyone else. Therefore, if you cancel without sufficient notice, we do not have the opportunity to fill that space. This cancellation policy is designed to cover part of the lost revenue.
– For all the Cabo San Lucas, Corridor and Gordo Banks trips we refund 100% for any cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the trip. We do not refund for “No Shows” or cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the trip.
– For all PADI courses, a non-refundable deposit of $250 USD is required. Upon receipt of the deposit, a PADI eLearning code will be sent to you. The eLearning materials are yours to keep. Please consult with your physician to ensure you are fit for scuba diving before purchasing the eLearning code.
– For all full-day excursions to Cabo Pulmo, La Paz, La Ventana, and Puerto Chale, a $75 USD deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due at least three days prior to the trip. If we need to cancel your reservation due to bad weather or not meeting the minimum number of participants, we will refund 100% of your payments. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than seven days before the trip.
– Dives canceled by Dive Cabo due to weather and/or port closures will allow the client the option to reschedule the dive (based on availability) or to receive a 100% refund of the deposit.
– Dive Cabo has a zero tolerance policy for “drinking and diving.” Everything in moderation is acceptable; however, anyone showing up for the dive hung-over or smelling of alcohol will not be allowed on the boat and will not be issued a refund.
High-Season Policy: For trips booked between November 20–30 or December 20–31, deposits are non-refundable due to the high volume of inquiries and limited availability during these peak periods.
